Nest Watch started in 2005 and is now in its third year, our reasons for starting the site were two fold:

Firstly, after scouring the internet for Blue Tit related sites, we couldn't find any that really covered the long build-up to nesting. At the time, most sites only really came to life just before, or just after nest building had started.

Secondly, we love nature, we love gadgets and we like to be nosey! Roll all of those into one and add some technology along editorial comment, and we found something that was both interesting and rewarding. It takes time, infact a lot of our time, but if we add anything to the knowledge base of birding held on the internet, then we have achieved our goal.

2007 will probably be the last year we cover Blue Tits for a while, we want to point the cameras at something else next year ...
