In response to a few requests and the fact that the outdated Guest Book system is beginning to be used more like a forum/messaging system, we have today opened the Nest Watch Discussion Forum.

It's a regular forum like many others on the web, and it's free and easy to use. Joining only takes a couple of minutes and we hope it becomes a central place for people to discuss the current season here on Nest Watch, and allow others to chat and find out about other birding and wildlife topics.

At the moment there is only one member, and that's us!

We would love you to join in, and we've started a readers poll about the male to get things kicked off ... Yes, he snuck back inside last night and his fan mail has been coming in all morning!

The site has been updated so you can visit it from any page by using the link at the top right-hand corner.

We may not have a lot of time to police or read every message that may be posted, as putting the diary pages together and watching the birds each day takes a lot of time. We will of course be a regular participator and trust that people will use it properly and not abuse the system.
